FAQ

What if we do the renovation, spend all this money, and the house doesn’t sell?

With over 1,200 renovations completed and sold we have excellent data to guide you in the timeline of selling your home. However, there are exceptions and as long as we maintain the listing until the home is sold, there is no requirement to pay back renovation costs. We simply will get re-paid through escrow at closing.

What if something comes up after the renovation and I decide not to sell? Is the renovation and commission owed?

A friend down the street says they could do the scope of work for less? Why is that?

Renovation Realty is a fully licensed, bonded and insured residential contractor. We are a member of the BBB with an A+ rating. We also get all building permits where required and strictly adhere to all EPA guidelines. This is to your benefit because it protects you, the homeowner, from being sued for injuries on the job site, any construction defects and any future penalties/law suits from unpermitted work done on the property… even after it has sold!

I was in a financial bind and had to sell my house. Maximizing the amount of money I was to receive from the sale was critical. I was attracted to the Renovation Realty concept. They dramatically transformed my old house into a beautiful model home in a short period of time. They received 11 offers on the house within 2 days of appearing on the market! All of those offers were over the list price!

The Renovation Realty business model is a home seller’s dream. Where else can a cash-strapped homeowner find a partner, who has the financial resources to front the money, design and construction expertise to complete full-scale renovations, and then operate a full-service realty operation with a home seller's profit in mind.

I used Steve and his crew to do some basic upgrades and work before I put my house on the market. With great execution and market research, once we hit the market, we received offers over asking price within 6 days. I would highly recommend using Renovation Realty.
